This week it was presentation night on Thursday. Some of our class were in the library and the other half were in our classroom. I reckon Selena and I went great but the thing that annoyed me the most was having to read my speech over and over again. Everything besides that was AWESOME . It made me feel great. If I had to choose one of the passion projects, it would have to be Maggie and Tiana doing cooking with Heather as thiere mentor.
This week I did my presentation to the class I thought it went well. This is the order that I showed it to the class. First I read my speech and showed all the animals. Then I showed the book on the ipad. If we ever did another passion project I would really want to do it again because it is very fun and you get to learn about things you don't normally get to.
I did some more work on our book but I didn't finish because it was our last lesson. So Mrs Warner will let us have one more lesson on Monday next week. Today is Friday and in the morning we got a trusted mentor to give us some feedback on our project so far. Mine was Shanae. She said I should fix my spelling mistakes and finish the book. That's what I'm planning to do next Monday.
In week 6, Selena and I helped make a tree out of beads and wire. It's now week 7 and I have started to make a book with all our animals in It.
This week I made a heavy headed turtle out of sea glass, shells and a rock for the head. I think I should make a video or book on book creater on a ipad. Next week need to remember to bring my shells, seaglass and drift wood.
Today I made a fish and two butterfly's out of shells and drift wood. My mum and I got our shells and brang them to school. Next week Im going to make a tuertle out of shells. Next week I need to bring shells.
On Thursday I made two recycled turtles and one butterfly. They were made out of shells and drift wood. Alice is my mentor. She helped me with the hot glue gun. Next week I am making a book by taking photos of the animals and putingt them together. Next week I need to bring shells drift wood and sea glass.
