This is the end of my passion project. I am feeling that I went great because I aIso know the song now. And my speech is great . I can not wait until I get to show the class how to play "Happy". I am really excited.
On Thursday I rewrote the song "Happy" .I copied it off of the happy sheet of paper which we printed off. It had all of the notes on it, so that's how I did it and when I finished writing, I played it with a bit of help and then my mentor Alicia said keep playing so I played up to 10 times and then I played to Alicia. Then we packed up and went back to the classroom. Today we had to pick a trusted friend. My trusted friend was Jay and what he had to do was see if my passion project was done and I had to check his to see if it was done. we have both nearly finished.
On Thursday I did the second chorus of the song Happy I like the second chorus. Its got A beat to it and the first chorus does not have much beat to it but it makes a good song
And my mentor was Alicia.
Today I tried to play the song Happy without my mentor .It was harder then I thought!
But I gave it a go. Like the teacher says failure is a option - giving up is not an option. But I need to get it finished. I did not like it when I dropped my drum stick slipped down the drain.
Today we got the song 'Happy' and then I tried to play it. It was hard I had to do it a couple of times but I reckon I might get the song right next time. We did the first bit of the song. Next week I will do the 2nd bit of the song. Bu Cathy has lent me some practice kits to practice on too.
Today I went to the music room to set up the drum kit. I did 'A' beat and then I went to the computer room and printed some beats off. Next week I will try to play 'Happy'.
Alicia is my mentor.
I’m really excited with the way I am going to learn the drums. I love my project. I watched some you tube clips on drum lessons. Next time I will need to go to the music room to play the drums. I will need to bring my drum sticks next time.
